I play CS2 competitively and I've been to LAN. Tuning a PC for competitive FPS is a different job from a normal build or clean-up: the target isn't a big average frame rate, it's consistency.
What this actually involves
Most "gaming optimisation" you'll find online is a list of registry tweaks copied between forums. Half do nothing, and a few make things worse.
I measure first. I capture frametimes and latency in the games you actually play, find where the stutter or the delay is coming from, and fix that specific thing. Usually it's unglamorous: memory running at its default speed instead of its rated one, a power plan throttling the CPU, a monitor sitting at 60Hz because nobody switched it up, or one background process causing every hitch you feel.
If a part is genuinely the bottleneck, I'll say so rather than sell you tweaks that can't fix it. Optimised for minimal input latency and consistent competitive performance — measured before and after, so you can see what changed.
